Here's a painting I've started for a friend of mine. She's having me paint her initials in the background in rich reds, and then on top of that will be a statement about 'who she is' as a woman. What I've done here is design her initials in block letters and overlap them to create a structural framework for the background design, then I'll paint her 'statement' in other vibrant color over it in the next progress video.

I've started a new venture in my art profession--which is to offer an "Art Deal of the Day".What I'm doing is giving people the opportunity to purchase a piece of art at an incredibly great price.  For example, I am offering a $100 signed, limited edition print of a piece of my work for only $25 for a few days at a time per 'deal'.

I've done my art deal of the day since March 5th, and so far, word is starting to catch on, and the feedback has been wonderful--saying they are loving the great deals on my art.  In this economy, art is typically one of the first 'luxuries' to go--yet it can be one of the most wonderful ways to inspire a person and 'rise above' the frustration and depression of the economy.

I'm happy offering the great deal because it supports my vision to "create art that inspires and connects with people around the world" and allows the majority of people to afford it.
