Inspired by the scene 'Deep' of Cirque du Soleil's show 'KA' at MGM Grand. The scene in the show is completely black and white, yet one morning while I was meditating and listening to the music to this scene, I saw vibrant colors. So, I hurry and made a color sketch, and voila! This painting represents many things to people--is the person drowning or surfacing? The person who purchased the original said it's a 'choice'.

"Release" is inspired by the scene "Love Dance" in the Cirque du Soleil © show “KA”. The artist throws a baton high in the air-symbolic of ‘letting go’ of whatever is holding us back. It's the ‘release’ that allows us to heal and move forward.

“Immortal” This figure, in one of Cirque’s many aerial acts, flies through the air experiencing the great thrills of life when we have the courage to ‘risk’ and shares with us the belief that ‘all things are possible’.

“Origin”, We all have 'origins' in life--when we're born, a new career, or in pursuit of our dreams--there are voices whispering to us, "You can do it" and "No, you can't". When we listen to our hearts and trust, we not only 'hold on', but the challenge becomes an adventurous journey. This is reminiscent of my own origin of truly expressing my love and passion through my talents.

“Green Street”, This juggler dates back to before Cirque was formed--when stilt-walking and juggling acts were done in the streets, and people handed them money.
