I AM A STAND FOR DIVERSITY & AUTHENTICITY.
Whether dancing to my own beat of the music or drawing, painting, and writing to the dictates of my conscience, conforming to ‘cohesiveness’ is stifling and stunting to my artist soul (not a quality galleries typically look for when representing artists).
Professors might call me a ‘rebel artist’—I use paint right out of the tube (gasp!) and color ‘outside the lines’—yet, the perfectionist in me is powerfully apparent. I may have a BFA degree, but I believe artists should be valued for what we create and contribute.
I wear a diverse number of hats—designer, illustrator, painter, calligrapher, typographer, writer—whatever suits me in the moment. I stand for freedom of expression, variety, and possibilities.
