It’s here! My Type Puzzles Affirmations, Vol. 1 book has been published! From concept to completion, it is 6+ years in the making!! The 22+ designs are made entirely of letters from the affirmations—to color, doodle, art journal, or use as patterns for faux or stained glass and quilting, and much more. The designs can also be cut-out and stand alone as inspiring works. Combined with the affirmations, it’s a book that can help to empower and transform yourself and bring enlightenment to your life.

This is a special book...the affirmations’ designs were drawn on the cold, snowy days of winter, 2016-2017—literally ‘drawing’-upon the power and energy of the Universe to get me through those dark, depressive days, and to ‘download’ the imagery—corresponding with the affirmations.

For each one, I closed my eyes, took deep breaths to center myself and to connect with their energies. I visualized the letters of the affirmations (e.g., I AM MOTIVATION, I AM PEACE, etc.), in my mind’s eye, to figure-out how to construct their respective designs.

Some designs took hours, while others took days to complete. As I began sketching ideas, many serendipitous things happened—for example, after I finished I AM BRILLIANCE, I discovered there was a side view of a princess-cut diamond in it! It was emotionally mind-blowing.

Negative beliefs and self-talk, like for so many, have been a part of my life since I was young—formed by peers, adults, society, culture, and religion. Although I believed in myself and managed to achieve goals, there was always the underlying talk of not being ‘good’ or ‘enough.’

It wasn’t until my early 30s when I was introduced to affirmations and the power of positive self-talk. I further learned the effectiveness of stating an affirmation in the noun form, versus the adjective, e.g. “I AM LOVE” VS. “I AM LOVING,” which affirms we ‘are’ and ‘embody’ that entity.

It is my deep desire that those, who have developed any level of negative self-talk, experience an empowering transformation through stating and connecting with the designs in this book.
